Title: Closing the Leadership Divide: What People Want from Leaders and What It Takes to Deliver in ANZ
Summary:
Drawing on responses from nearly 10,000 professionals worldwide, this session explores a simple but important question: what do people really want from their leaders today? The findings offer a perspective rarely taken, the perspective of people being led, providing a grounded view of leadership expectations across markets and cultures.
But how do current ANZ leaders compare with these expectations? We’ll highlight where alignment exists, and where a more subtle but meaningful divide is emerging.
Rather than stopping at the gap, we’ll share how that divide can be closed. Insights from five core competencies of highly effective leaders are used to translate expectations into clear, observable behaviours.
This session offers a broader lens that extends beyond identification and placement to how leaders are supported in the areas that matter most.
